Sevilla FC Considers Sale of Striker Akor Adam for €20M

Sevilla FC is weighing the sale of striker Akor Adam due to growing interest from various clubs across Europe. The Spanish club, currently undergoing a major rebuild under manager Lui Plaza, narrowly avoided relegation, finishing just three points above the drop zone.

Adam, who joined Sevilla in January 2025 and has three years remaining on his contract, has emerged as a valuable asset in the transfer market. Sevilla is reportedly open to selling him to improve its financial position in compliance with La Liga's economic regulations.

The club believes Adam is valued at €20 million, which is almost four times the fee paid to sign him 18 months ago. This potential sale could become the third most expensive in the club's history, following Jules Koundé's €50 million move to Barcelona and Diego Carlos' €31 million transfer to Aston Villa.

Sunderland is among the clubs monitoring the situation, while interest has also been expressed by Olympique Marseille and clubs in Saudi Arabia, although Adam is believed to prefer remaining in Europe.
