Marseille Targets Akor Adam Amid Sevilla Negotiations

Akor Adam, a 26-year-old striker, is reportedly a target for Marseille as they prepare for a summer rebuild. After a difficult first spell at Sevilla, where he failed to register a goal or assist during the 2025-26 season, Adam turned his performance around, finishing the campaign with ten goals and three assists in 32 appearances.

His consistent performances helped Sevilla establish themselves in La Liga. Marseille has identified Adam as a priority target and is preparing to make an €18 million offer.

However, Sevilla is holding out for a €25 million fee, complicating negotiations due to La Liga's strict financial regulations that require clubs to generate significant revenue from player sales. Adam's previous experience in French football with Montpellier may favor Marseille's approach, as he would require minimal adjustment to settle back in Ligue 1.

The outcome of the negotiations remains uncertain as Sevilla appears unwilling to reduce their asking price.
