Venezia Signs Akor Adams from Sevilla for €16 Million

Venezia has successfully negotiated a transfer deal with Sevilla for striker Akor Adams, agreeing on a fee of €16 million. Sevilla initially rejected an open bid from the Italian club but later accepted the offer.

This transfer will make Adams the most expensive signing in Venezia's history. The 26-year-old forward joined Sevilla from the French club Montpellier in January 2025 and had an impressive campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 32 appearances across all competitions.

Adams has represented Nigeria at the U-20 level and was part of the Super Eagles squad that secured a bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. He began his professional career at Norwegian club Lillestrøm.
