Seyi Makinde to Announce 2027 Presidential Bid in Ibadan

Governor Seyi Makinde will officially declare his intention to run for the presidency in the 2027 elections during a large rally scheduled for Thursday at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oyo State. This event is organized under the banner of a new political alliance involving the People Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Movement (APM).

Sources indicate that several politicians who recently left the PDP will formally present their candidacies during the rally. Among those expected to announce their candidacies are Bimbo Adekanmbi for governorship and Stanlei Olajid, Olufemi Ajadi, and Shina Peller for various legislative positions.
