Aljazirah Awards 2025: Honoring Nigeria's Leaders

Aljazirah Nigeria/London Newspapers has revealed the recipients of its Personality of the Year Awards 2025, recognizing prominent Nigerians for their contributions to leadership, public service, entrepreneurship, and good governance. The awards aim to celebrate individuals whose achievements have significantly impacted national development and service delivery.

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, was awarded Minister of the Year for his reforms in passport administration, border management, and correctional services. Seyi Tinubu received the Distinguished Humanitarian Service/Entrepreneur of the Year award for his philanthropic efforts and youth initiatives.

Prof. Nnanyelugo Ike-Muonso was named Government Agency/Public Servant of the Year for promoting research and innovation in Nigeria's raw materials sector. Engr. Bashir Ojulari, Group CEO of NNPC Ltd, was recognized as Africa’s CEO of the Year for his leadership in the energy sector.

Several state governors, including Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, were also honored for their governance achievements.
