Tinubu and Others Honored in 2025 Aljazirah Awards

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited Bashir Ojulari, and six state governors have been named among the recipients of the 2025 Aljazirah Personality of the Year Awards, organized by AljazirahNigeria/London Newspapers. The awards celebrate individuals distinguished in leadership, public service, and contributions to national development.

Hon. Ibrahim Abubakar, Chairman of the Award Committee, stated that the 2025 edition aims to honor excellence in leadership and visionary governance. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo was recognized as Minister of the Year for his transformative leadership at the Ministry of Interior, particularly in reforms related to passport processing and national security.

Seyi Tinubu received the Distinguished Humanitarian Service/Entrepreneur of the Year award for his initiatives supporting youth empowerment. Prof. Nnanyelugo Ike-Muonso was honored as Government Agency/Public Servant of the Year for his contributions to Nigeria's raw materials development agenda.

Bashir Ojulari was recognized as Africa’s CEO of the Year for his role in transforming NNPC Limited.
