Shaibu Urges Plateau United to Sustain NPFL Title Push

Comrade Philip Shaibu, the Director General of the National Institute for Sports, encouraged the Plateau United Football Club players to sustain their improved performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and remain focused on their pursuit of the league title. During an interactive session with the team in Plateau State, Shaibu commended the players for their recent resurgence after a difficult start to the season.

He noted that he was initially concerned about the team's performance but was pleased to see them turn things around. Shaibu disclosed that he met with Plateau State Governor Barr.

Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, who expressed positive sentiments about the team's improvement and indicated that the state leadership is closely monitoring and supporting the club's progress. He stressed the importance of discipline and teamwork, reminding players that success depends on collective responsibility on the pitch.

Shaibu congratulated the team on their recent performances and encouraged them to aim for the top of the NPFL table.
