Shaibu Urges Plateau United to Sustain NPFL Title Push

Comrade Philip Shaibu, the Director General of the National Institute for Sports, urged players of Plateau United Football Club to sustain their improved performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and remain focused on their pursuit of the league title. This charge was given during an interactive session with the team in Plateau State on Wednesday, where he commended the players for their recent resurgence after a difficult start to the season.

Shaibu, who previously served as the Deputy Governor of Bendel Insurance, noted the importance of discipline and teamwork, stating that success in modern football requires collective responsibility on the pitch. He also highlighted the support from Plateau State Governor Barr.

Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, who expressed optimism about the team's recent improvements. Shaibu encouraged the players to continue their positive performance and aim for the top of the NPFL table, emphasizing that every player contributes to the team's success.
