Shekarau's Return Boosts APC Strength in Kano State

Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Governor of Kano State, welcomed the return of former governor Ibrahim Shekarau to the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a major development for the party in the state. This announcement was made in a press statement issued on Sunday by the Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad.

Governor Yusuf stated that Shekarau's return would further strengthen the APC's position in Kano as they prepare for upcoming elections, with a date to be fixed after consultations with the national secretariat of the party. He expressed confidence that the APC is ready for the next electoral contest, emphasizing the party's growing support and its consolidation as a dominant political force in the state.
