Shettima, Ganduje, Gwarzo Discuss Kano North Politics

On a recent Monday, Vice President Kashim Shettima held a closed-door meeting in Abuja with former Kano State Governor Umar Ganduje and Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, a former deputy governor and ex-minister of state for housing and urban development. The discussions centered on political developments in Kano North in anticipation of the 2027 general elections.

Gwarzo shared details of the meeting on his verified Facebook page, indicating that the focus was on the senatorial district seat currently occupied by Barau Jibrin, who is expected to recontest in 2027. The meeting also included Abba Bichi, a member of the House of Representatives for Bichi Federal Constituency.
