Tinubu's Administration Works for Safe Return of Abducted Kids

On a special Jummat prayer day commemorating Nigeria's 27th Democracy Day, Vice President Kashim Shettima stated that President Bola Tinubu is diligently working to ensure the safe return of schoolchildren and other citizens currently held by bandits and terrorists. Shettima called for national unity and fervent prayers for peace, emphasizing the government's unwavering commitment to restoring stability across Nigeria.

He highlighted the ongoing efforts of security agencies, particularly in the North East, where troops successfully repelled a terrorist attack at the Forward Operating Base Mandaragirau. This attack, which occurred early in the morning, resulted in the loss of five soldiers and three members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).

Shettima urged Nigerians to set aside differences and work together for the nation's stability, reinforcing the importance of unity in overcoming challenges.
