Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima will lead Nigeria's delegation to the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) opening on September 23, 2025, in New York. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, emphasized Nigeria's natural fit for a permanent membership on the UN Security Council.
