Northern CAN Chair Warns Against Shielding Terror Sponsors in Nigeria

The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in 19 northern states, Hayab, criticized the loyalty of the Tinubu government to terror sponsors, emphasizing the need to prioritize defeating terrorism over protecting influential figures. Hayab highlighted the dangers of mixing politics and religion in addressing Nigeria's security challenges, urging President Bola Tinubu to take decisive action against terrorists and their supporters.

He warned against the distraction of politicizing religion and emphasized the importance of genuine faith over extremist ideologies, particularly in light of the growing insecurity and attacks targeting Christian communities in Nigeria.
