Shi’ites Rally in Bauchi to Support Iran and Islamic Values

On a Sunday, members of the Islam Movement of Nigeria, commonly known as Shi’ites, staged a rally in Bauchi to express their support for Iran and promote Islamic values. The rally was led by Zeenatuddeen Zakzaki, the wife of the movement's leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaki.

This event coincided with the 5th International Conference on Islamic Thought, which focused on the theme of state affairs. During the conference, Sheikh Zakzaki urged Muslims to align their lives with the teachings of the Qur'an and the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad.

The rally also served as a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian people, highlighting the ongoing struggles against oppression. Abdullahi Musa, a speaker at the event, emphasized the necessity for Muslims and Christians to unite against injustice, criticizing the Nigerian government for its lack of concrete action regarding global injustices, particularly in relation to Palestine.

Musa argued that Nigeria's challenges stem from systemic issues rather than merely leadership problems.
