Akwa Ibom Innovation Network Launches Tech Week 2026

Akwa Ibom Tech Week 2026 is scheduled for November 2–7, 2026, across Uyo and Ikot Ekpene, organized by the Ibom Innovation Network. The event, themed ‘Scaling the Frontier: From Homegrown Innovation to Global Markets’, aims to strengthen the state’s innovation ecosystem by linking local talent with investment opportunities and industry partnerships.

A key feature is a startup pitch competition offering N10 million in prizes, where ten finalists will present their businesses to investors and corporate leaders. The event will also include technology exhibitions, public-sector workshops, a career fair, and cultural activities.

The program focuses on three priorities: intelligence, infrastructure, and industry, emphasizing the development of technologies like artificial intelligence and the conversion of innovation into economic value. Activities will commence with a Golf and Tech Mixer and will include ecosystem tours to highlight innovation hubs and industry locations.
