Nigeria and Sierra Leone Forge Partnership for Development

Sierra Leone is partnering with Nigeria to enhance national development, particularly in education and health sectors. A delegation from the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), led by Director General Dr.

Yakub, visited Sierra Leone to assess the impact of Nigerian volunteers currently serving in various educational and health institutions. During meetings with Sierra Leone's Minister of Technical and Higher Education, Dr.

Haja Ramatulai Wuri, and Deputy Minister of Health, Professor Charl Seuss, discussions focused on strengthening educational cooperation and capacity-building initiatives. The NTAC delegation also evaluated the performance and challenges faced by the 24 Nigerian volunteers in Sierra Leone, emphasizing their significant contributions to socio-economic development.

The mission underscores Nigeria's commitment to advancing its foreign policy priorities and promoting sustainable development across Africa, reinforcing the long-standing relationship between Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
