Silva Optimistic About Iwobi's Recovery from Injury

Marco Silva, the manager of Fulham, expressed disappointment over the injury of Alex Iwobi, who will miss the Premier League match against Aston Villa due to a hamstring injury sustained during a goalless draw against Brentford. Silva indicated that Iwobi's absence represents a significant blow to Fulham's midfield, as he has made 27 top-flight appearances this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

The injury is expected to keep Iwobi out until the end of the season, impacting his participation in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. Silva mentioned that the team will have to adapt, with players like Sander Berg and Harrison Reed likely to take on starting roles.
