Nigerian afrobeat singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has made headlines for her passionate call to action against sexual violence in Nigeria. Simi expressed her frustration, advocating for extreme punishments such as castration and burning for perpetrators of rape. She emphasized the need for accountability among men, stating that they must challenge and confront sexual violence.
