Singapore ICA Sets Guidelines for Foreign Parents' LTVP

The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore has outlined the requirements and costs for foreign parents applying for a Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) sponsored by their Singapore citizen or permanent resident child. If the sponsoring child is 21 years or older, they must log in to the ICA e-Service using Singpass to submit the application.

For children under 21, a separate local sponsor, who must be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident aged 21 or older, is required to complete the application through the ICA e-Service portal. The application incurs fees at two stages: S$45 upon submission and S$60 for the issuance of the LTVP.

Additionally, foreign parents needing a Multiple Journey Visa will incur an extra S$30 fee. All payments must be made online, and accepted methods include various credit cards and Internet Direct Debit from local banks.

Importantly, all fees are non-refundable, regardless of the application outcome.
