Fola Defends UNILAG Project in Casual Attire After Trip

Folarin Odunlami, popularly known as Fola, explained the circumstances surrounding his viral image of defending his project at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) while dressed in casual clothes. During an episode of the I Said What I Said podcast, Fola clarified that his attire was not a conscious choice to disregard the university's expectations.

He had just returned from Canada and was eager to fulfill his academic obligation without delay. Instead of going home to change or rest after his journey, he went straight to the university.

Upon arrival, Fola presented his flight ticket to his lecturer to confirm that he had just landed in Nigeria. The lecturer accepted his explanation and allowed him to proceed with his project defense.

This incident highlights Fola's commitment to his education despite the challenges posed by international travel.
