Singer KWAM 1 Now Airport Secuirty Ambassador – Federal Gov’t

The Federal Government has appointed Fuji music icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as KWAM 1, as an Ambassador for proper airport security protocol following a recent incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. The move comes after KWAM 1's one-month flight ban was reduced due to his demonstration of penitence.

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, stated that the decision was made to address the unruly behavior at the airport and ensure safety and security in the aviation sector. The ValueJet flight crew involved in the incident will also undergo retraining and have their licenses restored.

The government emphasized its commitment to enforcing discipline in the aviation sector while showing compassion in this case. The Ministry of Aviation will hold a retreat next week to retrain security personnel and airline staff.
