FG Commends Kaduna Skills Development Model Under Uba Sani

The Federal Government has praised the Kaduna State model for skills development, particularly under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani. Vice President Kashim Shettima noted the establishment of the Kaduna State Council for Skills as a significant achievement, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

This council is designed to create a dedicated framework for skill development, addressing unemployment and fostering human capital development in line with national objectives. The Vice President emphasized that the Kaduna model serves as a vital template for grassroots vocational training initiatives.

The council aims to produce 12,000 artisans annually through three skill centers located in Soba, Rigachikun, and Samarun Kataf, covering various trades such as welding, aluminum fabrication, fashion design, and solar panel installation. Successful completion of these programs will lead to certification from the National Board for Technical Education.

Additionally, Governor Sani plans to remodel the Panteka market into an industrial hub for 38,000 artisans.
