MOP Stars FC Defeats Lucky Stars FC 6-0 in Abuja Match

MOP Stars FC, an Abuja-based youth football club, achieved a significant 6-0 victory over Lucky Stars FC in a friendly match at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on Saturday. The match aimed to discover emerging football talents and promote peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

Dr. Suleiman Adejoh, President of MOP Stars FC Academy, expressed gratitude for an injury-free match and highlighted a partnership with Star Lady FC, indicating plans to sign some players for five years.

Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Ojukwu, Chief of Staff to the Chairman of the Anambra Football Association, emphasized the importance of grassroots football in nurturing future stars and commended Mrs.

Nkiruka Duru for her efforts in developing young footballers despite economic challenges. He called for increased support for private football academies.
