Sokoto Pilgrims Receive N450,000 Sallah Gift Each

Pilgrims from Sokoto State received N450,000 each as a Sallah gift, announced by Alhaji Muhammad Mai Gari Dingyadi, the Amirul Hajj and Minister of Labour and Productivity. This financial support aims to assist the pilgrims in their return journey to Nigeria after completing their Hajj rites.

Dingyadi praised the conduct of Sokoto pilgrims during their time in Saudi Arabia, noting that none violated Saudi Arabian laws and that their exemplary behavior projected a positive image of Sokoto State. He urged the pilgrims to maintain their spirit of obedience and responsibility, emphasizing their role as worthy ambassadors of the state.

Dingyadi reassured the pilgrims of the commitment of Governor Ahmadu Aliyu's administration to the welfare of the people of Sokoto State and called on them to continue praying for the success of the current administration and for peace and security across Nigeria.
