Nigerian Soldiers Arrest Woman Supplying Drugs to Boko Haram Terrorists in North-East

In a significant security development, soldiers from the Joint Task Force North East Operation Hadin Kai arrested a 65-year-old woman named Hauwa Abulazeez for her alleged involvement in supplying drugs to Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East region of Nigeria. Lt.

Col. Sanni Uba, the media information officer of the task force, disclosed that the suspect was apprehended in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.

Abulazeez is accused of being a supplier of cannabis sativa to the terrorist group. Preliminary investigations revealed that she sourced the illicit substances from Sarti Baruwa Local Government Area in Taraba State and established supply routes for distribution.

The operation led to the seizure of 30 kilograms of compressed cannabis sativa blocks. The arrest underscores the military's commitment to disrupting criminal networks and improving security conditions in the region.
