Nigerian Army Rescues Kidnap Victim in Taraba State Operation

Nigerian Army troops from the 6 Brigade rescued a man identified as Alhaji Shuaibu, aged 40, from kidnappers in Taraba State. The operation, carried out in Lau Local Government Area, involved Sector 3 of Operation Whirl Stroke deploying to Maraba Apawa based on credible intelligence.

The victim was kidnapped on December 9, with the rescue operation taking place on December 11. The Army received a distress report, pursued the suspects, and successfully rescued the victim.

The Army commended the troops for their quick response and professionalism in ensuring the safety and security of residents during the festive season.
