Nigerian Troops Foil Kidnapping, Rescue Victims in Taraba, Intensify Patrols

Nigerian troops in Taraba successfully thwarted a kidnapping incident after receiving a distress call. The criminals fled, leaving behind two victims identified as Mr.

Terso Kerso and Mr. Udongu Terbo from Ikyior community in Wukari LGA.

The victims were rescued and immediately evacuated to the Federal University Teaching Hospital Wukari for urgent medical attention. The 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, Sector 3 OPWS, under Brigadier General Kingsley Chidieber Uwa, was commended for their swift response and professionalism in ensuring the security of the area.

The Nigerian Army reaffirmed its commitment to proactive operations to maintain security and urged the public to provide credible information to support ongoing security efforts.
