Nigerian Troops Rescue Kidnap Victim in Taraba State

Nigerian troops from the 6 Brigade, Sector 3 of Operation Whirl Stroke rescued a 40-year-old kidnap victim, Alhaji Shuaibu Yelwata, in Taraba State. The victim was abducted two days earlier and was identified in Ardo Kola Local Government Area.

Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa commended the soldiers for their professionalism and successful rescue operation, emphasizing the army's commitment to protecting communities in Taraba State. The operation involved a rapid response pursuit following credible intelligence, leading to the abandonment of the victim by the kidnappers.
