Solewant Group Expands Manufacturing in Africa

Solewant Group is executing its Roadmap Plus 2025–2035, a strategic plan initiated at the beginning of 2025 aimed at enhancing its operations across Africa. The program emphasizes investment in personnel, facilities, products, and technical solutions to compete internationally.

A significant investment was made in July 2025 with the commissioning of a specialized pipe bend and fitting multi-layer coating facility at the Solewant Industrial Park in Alode-Eleme/Onne, Rivers State, developed in partnership with foreign OEM partners. This facility addresses technical challenges in protective coating for irregular pipeline components.

Following this, on July 31, 2026, Solewant Specialty Protective Coatings and Paints Limited was inaugurated, marking a shift from being an applicator to manufacturing protective coating materials domestically. Mr. Solomon Ewanehi, the Group's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, emphasized the importance of this project as a flagship initiative for the Group.
