Solewant Group Unveils New Paints Manufacturing Plant

Solewant Group has inaugurated its Solewant Specialty Protective Coatings and Paints Limited (SSPC) & Paints Manufacturing Plant in Alode, Eleme Local Government Area, Rivers State, barely 12 months after launching a Pipe Bend Multi-Layer Pipe Coating Plant. This new facility is set to unveil a series of coating solutions and paints on July 31, 2026, contributing significantly to Nigerian Content Development in the oil and gas and maritime sectors.

The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Solomon Ewanehi, stated that the facility allows for precise application of multi-layer coating systems, enhancing pipeline integrity and reducing maintenance.

The completion of this plant marks a crucial investment in indigenous manufacturing and aims to bolster local production of decorative and protective coatings for various infrastructures, supporting Nigeria's ambition to become a leading steel pipe manufacturing hub in Africa.
