Anambra Appoints Chiamaka Nnake as First Female SSG

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has appointed Chiamaka Nnake as the state's first female Secretary to the State Government (SSG). The announcement was made on Monday by Christian Aburim, the governor's chief press secretary.

Nnake, 39, hails from Nawfia in the Njikoka Local Government Area and has 13 years of experience in finance and public sector management. She previously chaired the Commission on Budget and Economic Planning and oversaw the mobilization and allocation of state resources to support socio-economic development.

Nnake has held leadership positions across several state boards, including the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency and the International Revenue Service Board. She is currently a focal point for the state's reform championing ease of doing business and social investment programs.

Nnake holds a Master of Business Administration from Lagos Business School and graduated with first-class honors in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University. The governor also announced other appointments, including Mr.

Ngozi Iwouno as Principal Secretary to the Governor.
