Soludo Supports Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has publicly declared his support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

During a television interview in Awka, Soludo stated that he has no regrets about his position and emphasized his friendship and trust in Tinubu. He advised the president to reconsider his ambitions and disclosed ongoing progress in a grand alliance.

Soludo confirmed that the APGA will not field a presidential candidate in 2027, aligning with the decision made during the 2023 elections when the party also did not present a candidate. He expressed a desire for collaboration with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to promote governance and development in Anambra State.

Soludo reiterated that his administration aims to maintain a strong working relationship with the federal government and support Tinubu's bid for a second term, highlighting APGA's priorities in strengthening its influence at both state and regional levels.
