Soludo Celebrates First Term End with Thanksgiving Service

On Sunday, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, held an interdenominational thanksgiving service to mark the conclusion of his first term in office.

The event, themed "Lead with Wisdom," took place at the International Convention Centre in Awka and was attended by various clerics and dignitaries. Soludo, accompanied by his wife, Nony Soludo, expressed deep gratitude to the people of Anambra for their resilience and support during his first four years in office.

He acknowledged God's guidance throughout the challenges faced and assured citizens of his administration's commitment to further developing Anambra as a hub of prosperity. The governor highlighted the importance of unity beyond religious and ethnic lines and promised not to disappoint the people in the upcoming term, which begins with his inauguration on March 17, 2026.

Prominent clerics, including Bishop Francis Wale Oke and Rev. Alex Ibezim, delivered sermons emphasizing human capital development and divine guidance in leadership.
