Dr. Nony Soludo Launches Skills Training for 100 Women

On a recent date, Dr. Nony Soludo, the wife of the Governor of Anambra State, inaugurated a skills training program for 100 women in Awka.

This initiative is part of a broader plan announced by Mr. Soludo to train 10,000 women in various skills over two months.

The program includes practical internships under close supervision, focusing on high-demand skills such as solar installation, CCTV repair, AC maintenance, and tricycle (keke) repairs. The application portal received 10,000 submissions within a week of opening, indicating significant interest.

The training will last two months, with an additional month for internships, and will be monitored by an independent team of trainers. Dr.
