Soludo Sworn in for Second Term as Anambra Governor

On Tuesday, Chukwuma Soludo was sworn in for his second term as the Governor of Anambra State at 11:55 AM, with Deputy Onyekachi Ibezim having been sworn in earlier. Chief Justice Onochie Anyachebelu officiated the ceremony at Ekwueme Square.

In his address, Soludo reaffirmed his confidence in President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a courageous and patriotic leader capable of addressing Nigeria's challenges and advancing development in the Southeast. He specifically commended Tinubu for his intervention in federal infrastructure projects, particularly the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway and the Second Niger Bridge.

Soludo emphasized the need for Igbo leaders to actively engage in national politics to build alliances and strengthen their influence in decision-making processes. Vice President Kashim Shettima, who attended the ceremony, noted Soludo's demonstration of courage in his democratic leadership.
