Soludo Launches Crackdown on Fake Pastors in Anambra

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has vowed to initiate a crackdown on fake pastors who exploit vulnerable individuals by preaching the gospel without genuine intent. During a speech at St.

Patrick's Cathedral in Awka, he underscored the importance of societal transformation and fiscal discipline, advocating for a governance approach that prioritizes the right path for societal development. Soludo commended the Catholic Church's leadership for fostering a spirit of common good and highlighted the success of the Anambra burial law aimed at eliminating extravagant burial practices.

He also mentioned the ongoing crackdown that has already led to the arrest of several individuals, including native doctor Johnpaul Ezenagu, known as Mmuu Mmili, who was apprehended for allegedly performing illegal rituals and supplying counterfeit currency. The governor's remarks were made during a ceremony where he granted knighthood to individuals, reinforcing the need for true Christian values and community engagement.
