Ohanaeze Youths Urge South East Residents to Ignore IPOB's Sit-at-Home Order

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has advised residents of the South East region to disregard the sit-at-home order issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The directive, declared by IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful, was scheduled for Monday, February 2.

However, the Ohanaeze youth group, led by President Mazi Okwu Nnabuik, denounced the order as self-serving and detrimental to the region's economic activities. They highlighted that such actions could harm the Igbo community and urged businesses to operate normally.

IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has previously cautioned against sit-at-home orders, labeling them as economic sabotage. The statement aims to prevent any disruptions in the South East, particularly in markets like Onitsha.

The call for normalcy seeks to protect the interests of the Igbo people and prevent any potential harm caused by disobedience to the order.
