Soludo's Wife and Fidelity Bank Empower 2,000 in Anambra

Dr. Nony Soludo, the wife of the Anambra State governor, collaborated with Fidelity Bank PLC to empower 2,000 beneficiaries, primarily women and children, in Anambra State.

This initiative aimed to strengthen livelihoods and promote economic independence. During the event held at the Banquet Hall, Light House, Awka, on a Saturday, participants received various items, including sewing machines, grinding machines, and food bank packs.

Additionally, 250 schoolchildren received solar-powered school bags to support their educational endeavors. Dr.

Soludo emphasized the importance of investing in people to build healthier communities and a prosperous society. The partnership with Fidelity Bank PLC was highlighted as a significant step towards economic inclusion, with 1,950 beneficiaries directly impacted.

Dr. Mekslei Nwagboh, the division head of brand communication at Fidelity Bank, reaffirmed the bank's commitment to women's empowerment and social impact initiatives, including the distribution of 300,000 food packs across Nigeria.
