Son Heung-min Announces Emotional Tottenham Exit After 10 Years

Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min has announced his emotional exit from the club after 10 years. The South Korean player, who joined Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, has played 450 games and scored 173 goals for the team.

In a press conference in Seoul ahead of Tottenham's match against Newcastle, Son revealed his decision to leave the club at the end of the current season, calling it the toughest decision he has ever made. Despite winning the Europa League trophy in May, Son expressed his desire for a new challenge and environment.

While there are rumors of a move to Major League Soccer in the United States, Son's next destination remains uncertain. Tottenham's new head coach, Thomas Frank, praised Son as a true Spurs legend and one of the greatest players to have played for the club.

Son will play his final game for Tottenham against Watford on Sunday.
