Oyegun Apologizes for Leadership Failures, Calls for Change Ahead of 2023 Elections

John Odigie Oyegun, the chairman of the political manifesto committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), issued a public apology to Nigerians for the repeated disappointments caused by past leadership failures. Oyegun made this apology during an interview on ARiSE TV's prime time program on Friday.

He acknowledged the desire for change among Nigerians and stressed the importance of sacrifices at every level of society in preparation for the 2023 general elections. Oyegun, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), highlighted the need for a collective effort to address issues of oppression and corruption, including among governors and other leaders.

The ADC is positioning itself for the 2023 elections with a focus on societal transformation and accountability.
