El-Rufai Expresses Concern Over Voter Registration in South-East

Former Kaduna State governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has expressed concern over the low turnout of people in the South-East, particularly in Imo State, for the ongoing voter registration exercise. El-Rufai highlighted the importance of voter registration as a civic duty for democracy to thrive.

He urged parents, especially mothers, to encourage their children aged sixteen and above to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and emphasized the significance of youth participation in the electoral process. El-Rufai stressed that voting is a crucial civic duty and imperative for citizens to engage in the democratic process.
