Umahi Mocks Peter Obi, Vows South-East Support for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Former Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi, declared that the South-East region, especially Ebonyi State, will support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections, mocking Peter Obi's influence. Umahi criticized the "Obidient Movement" in the state, claiming that the people are no longer obedient and will vote for Tinubu.

He highlighted Tinubu's contributions and promised development for the region under his leadership. Umahi urged the populace to recognize Tinubu's positive impact and avoid repeating past election mistakes.

The statement was made during the Ohanivo 2025 New Yam Festival in Onicha Local Government Area.
