Enugu Summit Advocates for Youth Development Investment

The 2026 Teen Impact Summit held in Enugu, organized by the Ugo Ferdinand Foundation in collaboration with Brook Laurel Academy, focused on advocating for better investment in youth development programs. Stakeholders, including Mr.

Ugo Ferdinand Zikora, emphasized the need to empower teenagers with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to shape their futures. During the summit, it was noted that different young people face various struggles due to their exposure and guidance in early life.

Keynote speaker David Folaranmi, founder of the David Folaranmi Foundation, highlighted the dangers of addiction among children and teenagers, urging close monitoring to prevent long-term damage to their development. He described drug addiction as a "vision killer" that can destroy the aspirations of young people.

Nkechinyer Mbah, representing the Enugu State Governor, Barr. Chidimma Egonu, commended the initiative, affirming the administration's commitment to supporting programs aimed at improving the well-being and development of young people in the state.
