FirstBank to Host 2026 Agric and Export Expo in Lagos

FirstBank, recognized as West Africa’s premier financial institution, is set to host the 2026 edition of its flagship Agric and Export Expo on September 16 and 17, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos. The conference will focus on the theme “From Farm to Global Markets: Building Nigeria’s Export Value Chain,” and aims to gather policymakers, regulators, agribusiness leaders, exporters, investors, development partners, and other stakeholders to discuss strategies for enhancing Nigeria's non-oil export sector.

This fifth edition of the expo is a significant platform for dialogue and innovation in agriculture and trade. The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, will deliver the keynote address.

Olusegun Alebiosu, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FirstBank Group, emphasized the importance of agriculture and non-oil exports for Nigeria's economic transformation. The event will also feature several governors from various states, including Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger State and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
