Stanley Ontop Raises Alarm Over Alleged Plot to Re-Arrest Angela Okorie Despite Bail Release

Stanley Ontop, a popular Nollywood actor, has expressed alarm over the possibility of a re-arrest of actress Angela Okorie. Angela was reportedly arrested and remanded in Suleja Prison for alleged defamation against fellow actress Mercy Johnson.

Despite meeting bail conditions set by the Federal High Court in Abuja, Angela remains in prison. Stanley Ontop took to Instagram to reveal a plan for Angela's immediate re-arrest upon release, citing a fresh petition against her.

The petition alleges that Angela provided false residential information. This has led to police officers stationed outside Suleja Prison, ready to apprehend Angela upon her release.

The situation has sparked concerns about the professionalism of the Nigerian police force and the protection of citizens' rights.
