Yahaya Bello Urges Strengthened Ties with Kuwait Envoy

Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State, called on Nigeria's newly appointed ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Sanusi Abubakar Gamji, to enhance diplomatic relations and attract foreign investments that would benefit Nigeria's economy.

This appeal was made during a send-off ceremony held on Saturday in honor of Dr. Gamji before his departure to Kuwait.

Bello described Dr. Gamji as an accomplished diplomat with extensive experience dedicated to national service, justifying his confidence in the ambassador's ability to represent Nigeria effectively.

He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr. Gamji, stating that it reflects the administration's commitment to entrusting strategic national assignments to competent individuals.

Bello urged the ambassador to prioritize foreign investment and expand trade opportunities to stimulate economic development. He also paid tribute to the late former governor, Prince Abubakar Audu, and emphasized the need for unity among Kogi State residents to counter divisive tendencies.

Dr. Gamji expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to work diligently to strengthen Nigeria-Kuwait relations.
