NAAT Gives FG 14-Day Ultimatum Over Agreement Renegotiation

The National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to address their demands, including the renegotiation of the 2009 Agreement. NAAT President Comrade Ibeji Nwokoma warned of a looming strike if the government fails to meet their requirements by the deadline.

The ultimatum followed a review by NAAT's National Executive Council, which highlighted the need for salary and allowance reviews in Nigerian universities. Despite a previous Memorandum of Understanding, NAAT seeks further negotiations to improve the conditions of service in the education sector.
