Sunday Oliseh Opens Up About Challenges of Coaching Super Eagles Due to Lack of Basic Equipment

Sunday Oliseh, who served as the head coach of the Super Eagles from 2015 to February 2016, shared insights on the challenges he faced due to the inadequate training equipment provided to the team. Oliseh highlighted the lack of essential tools and kits during training sessions, making his job significantly more difficult.

Despite these obstacles, Oliseh managed to lead the team to successful results, including guiding the Super Eagles to qualify for the African Nations Championship in Rwanda. During his tenure, Nigeria only lost two matches, scoring 19 goals and conceding six in 14 games.

Oliseh's revelations came during an episode of his "Global Football Insight" podcast on YouTube, where he discussed the struggles faced by the team despite Nigeria's prominent status in African football.
