The Super Eagles began their training sessions in preparation for upcoming friendlies, with a notable absence being Calvin Bassey from Fulham, who dropped out due to a back injury. The team's captain, Wilfred Ndidi, arrived early on Wednesday morning to join the rest of the squad for the first training session.

A video shared via the team's official social media channel showcased the players participating in fitness drills, including rondo and quick touch pass exercises. Goalkeepers Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho, and Adebayo Adeleye were seen undergoing specialized training with the coaching staff.

The Super Eagles are set to face Iran on Friday at the Antalyaspor Stadium, with the tournament originally scheduled to be held in Amman, Jordan, but relocated to Turkey due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Their second fixture is slated for next Tuesday.
