On March 27, the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Iran 2-1 in a friendly match at Antalya Stadium, Turkey. Nigeria took control early in the game, with Moses Simon scoring in the sixth minute after a well-executed play.

The team maintained pressure throughout the first half, and early in the second half, Akor Adam doubled the lead with a calm finish in the 51st minute. Nigeria's head coach, Eric Chell, made strategic substitutions, including Emmanuel Fernandez replacing Semi Ajayi and debuting Chibuik Nwaiwu.
